Short films… well, tend to be short. But they make up for their shortness by being more what one might call: punchy. Featured below is a short film by Saad Altaf and Usman Ahmed (concept by Saad Altaf) which presents, to the viewer, the effect of telecommunication advances in the country. Sure, what you’re about to watch in the film isn’t something you get to see daily, but the premise here is metaphorical. And quite moving!

Having many of my Muslim relatives in America, I’ve heard stories of them being discriminated against on basis of their religion. Stories of being verbally abused for wearing the hijaab, or for supporting a beard or for just for being a Muslim in itself.
