Me and Shanipani came up with this song about 3 days ago. The parody throws light on some of the things that make life in Pakistan so much fun.
We decided to release it onto the public domain in celebration of Independence Day.
Getting the video ready in time was a huge challenge, but I think we’ve done ok. It’s got a great beat to it. Those of you who ever had a sega genesis might be able to recognize the music. Any guesses?
So why not jump ahead instead and watch/listen/read!
It’s a song! No, it’s a video! Naee naee, it’s text!
Heck, it’s all three. What you choose is up to you (and your internet connection speed).
DIAL-UP USERS LOOK HERE: Audio/Song!
Rock out to “Living in Pakistan” anywhere by downloading the song! CLICKITY! Our dial-up using readers would do well to listen to the song. Watch the video later when you get hold of a high-speed connection.
Now sing along!
And lastly, here are the lyrics. Sing along! Download the lyrics!
According to our evil genius scientist Mr. Monkey, your experience will be 14,652 times better by singing along than it would be without doing so.
You can now download the video and share it through your mobile. Impress your friends, blackmail the artsyhands team. Heck, it’s only a 9 mb file.
