Life without the Sun is theoretically possible if we evolve into a completely different species… but otherwise completely impossible. Without a Sun, plants would die because they need sunlight for the photosynthesis process. No plants? No animals!? NO HUMANS. And even if the food part is ignored; if there were no Sun, we would be unable to see through the night (the Moon reflects the Sun’s light).

So go ahead and the enjoy the sun while we’re at it. There only 5 million years left before it dies.
